An Attitude of Gratitude

If ingratitude be numbered among the serious sins, then gratitude takes its place among the noblest of virtues.

TODAY is a good day

3-March-2013

There are so many wonderful things to be grateful for in this life. I have a house, a roof over my head, good friends, good food, education and opportunities for continual advancement, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, many beautiful and wonderful tender mercies and reminders of God's love for me and my family... I feel that I have been greatly blessed with everything I need, and the Lord is so good to us! Today I have been reminded that there is always so much to be grateful for. It is both good and wise to appreciate the stages and positions of life in which we find ourselves. Even if they are not always happy happy joy joy stages, they are for our learning and growth, and they are good for us. Some things come in the form of obvious blessings, and others in the form of trials, which, if endured with an attitude of endurance, a heart of faith and an eye single to the glory of God, will actually turn out to be blessings in disguise. Learning and growth, improvement and progression, these things truly do have one eternal round, including today. And I am grateful to be a part of it all. Today.
